Occupational disability policy of AachenMünchener obtains a
"very good" mark from Stiftung Warentest

In a recent study made by the product-testing foundation Stiftung Warentest (Finanztest magazine issue 7/2008), the occupational disability policy of AachenMünchener has again received a top mark. The independent consumer magazine assigned the quality mark "very good" to the PRIVATE OCCUPATIONAL DISABILITY POLICY of AachenMünchener.

Finanztest: "Top covers for a high pension"
Stiftung Warentest studied 59 products of stand-alone occupational disability covers for 26 common occupations. In its article, the consumer magazine Finanztest clearly focussed on the importance of product quality. Therefore, consumers are advised to take their decision primarily on the basis of the terms and conditions of the individual policy. According to the Finanztest article, the premium to be paid should be considered in a second step.

In particular the waiver of making an abstract referral, i.e. referring the customer to an alternative occupation, was an important element in the valuation made by the consumer magazine. Besides the very good insurance terms and conditions, including the waiver of an abstract referral, the application forms of AachenMünchener are among the best of the companies tested. In addition, the age limits for the duration of cover and benefit payment are markedly broader than for the market average.
