Deutsche Bausparkasse Badenia AG, which has its headquarters in Karlsruhe is among the top private-sector building societies in Germany. It is the specialist for residential construction financing within the Generali Deutschland Group.

Badenia offers building-society products in line with market requirements, favourably priced advance and bridging finance, as well as attractive terms and conditions for financial investments. Residential property loans and products for a home ownership pension complete the portfolio offering their customers one-stop construction financing.

Its Via Badenia 06 tariff distinguishes itself by favourable loan conditions with nominal interest rates starting from 1.90 percent p.a. (effective interest rate starting from loan allocation of 2.44 percent as defined by the Price Indication Regulation PAngV) and by short periods required for loan allocations, which may start after only 12 months.

The Badenia services are therefore equally suited to finance the construction, purchase or modernisation of residential property, as well as debt conversion.

Badenia operates nation-wide and cooperates with a number of important distribution partners, such as Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG) and Commerzbank. The company looks after about 1.2 million customers.

Badenia was assigned a very good ‘A' rating both by the rating agency Standard & Poor's in December 2008 and by GBB-Rating Gesellschaft für Bonitätsbeurteilung in April 2008. The ratings analysed the current economic and financial situation and also included an assessment of the future development.
