Generali Deutschland Services GmbH
Generali Deutschland Services GmbH (GDS) is the service provider of the Generali Deutschland Group for the areas of accounting, tax, purchasing, logistics, facility management and IT management referring to operating business. In addition to its own HR management, GDS is also responsible for the HR management of the claims management company Generali Deutschland Schadenmanagement and of Generali Deutschland Informatik Services.
As a shared-service organization, GDS is focussed on its competitiveness, efficiency and profitability, a good quality of its services and on achieving high customer satisfaction.
GDS is present at the six locations of Cologne, Aachen, Munich, Hamburg, Karlsruhe and Saarbrücken with a total of 770 employees as at December 31, 2008. The controlling areas are located in Cologne, the other areas have been consolidated at the respective locations with a view to customer proximity.
