Generali Deutschland Sicherungsmanagement GmbH
The Cologne-based Generali Deutschland SicherungsManagement GmbH (SiMa) was founded in Berlin in 1999 and is the competence centre within the Generali Deutschland Group for security management and insolvency insurance for values represented by working hours accumulated from overtime and under early-retirement agreements.
The company's activities focus mainly on the development, consulting services and distribution of concepts and product solutions for time value accounts of all kinds and of funded pension schemes, including the management and administration of pension funds and all activities directly connected with these services.
These services include drawing up labour-law (general) agreements between employer and employee (individual agreements, company agreements) for time value accounts, the offer of insolvency insurance via a contractual constellation verified by a legal expert in the case of insolvency, or a Contractual Trust Arrangement (CTA), an efficient administration, as well as attractive cover opportunities with a guaranteed return. SiMa also regularly organises workshops, information events and certification seminars.
SiMa manages more than 1,500 companies with an insurance volume amounting to more than EUR 520 m. A large number of general agreements have been concluded with employers' associations, for instance the Employers' Federation of the Metal-working Industry (Gesamtmetall).
